I am an award-winning cultural anthropologist, visual artist, and author from Washington, DC. My diverse expertise spans education, music, film, and scholarly writing. I am a celebrated muralist, graffiti artist, graphic designer, and curator who has contributed to dozens of regional public art projects.
In addition to my artistic pursuits, I founded ART B.L.O.C. DC (Art Building Longevity in Our Community) - an art consultancy providing design and marketing solutions to its clients. I am known for creating interactive public mural installations using technology to tell stories and communicate identity and values.
Since 2021, I have served as the Executive Director for DC Murals, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization documenting and archiving the city's murals since 1997. I have curated several exhibits, including the 14th Street Graffiti Museum and Aerosoul - Murals for Our Time. Recently, I curated the exhibit To The East - The Rise of Public Murals for the Phillips Collection.
I am also an author who has written academic papers on street culture. My unwavering passion for public art and community building has earned me a reputation as a respected culture worker and voice in the city.
